We are excited to welcome Carmen Geddes again!

We had such a fun time last fall with Carmen Geddes that we are super excited to announce she is coming back to teach 2 more classes for our awesome customers.
Carmen was raised in a very large family of 17 children: 10 girls and 7 boys. She was taught how to quilt at an early age by her sisters and her mother.
Carmen is an award winning long-arm quilter, was a free-lance educator for Pfaff and Viking, and has had her own children's clothing business in Seattle. With all of that creative experience, she has a lot to share and teach.
Her classes focus on quilting techniques and we are super excited to have 2 classes to offer.
The Unique Technique Applique class is going to be amazing. You guys asked for it and we have it! In this class, you will enjoy instant success with machine applique that looks like it's been done by hand. You will create a beautiful 18" block that makes a wreath. You can finish it to be a wall-hanging or a table-topper, or continue with the pattern and make a charming quilt. This is an all day class, so plan on having a lot of fun with friends. Lunch will be provided along with snacks and door prizes. $119 for this class on Friday, August 12 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. There will also be a kit available for the project for an additional $29.99. Carmen will supply a small kit with glue, the pattern, stabilizer, and wooden sticks for $15.
The "JOY" wall-hanging class will feature Carmen's famous grid technique. You will be able to complete this sweet little wall-hanging, perfect for display at Christmas. This class is $69 and will be taught Saturday, August 13 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Snacks will be provided. There will be a kit available for purchase for $23.99 featuring the Old Fashioned Christmas fabrics.
